Terms of use

The short version: be honest, only post genuine deals, and nothing illegal. We check deals but can't promise every price is right, so always check with the shop before you buy.

Who we are

Jammy Deals (jammydeals.co.uk) is an independent UK deals site. You can reach us at [email protected]. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use it.

Using the site

You can browse and search deals without an account. Deals come from other deal communities, from our own price checks and from members. We link to the source so you can check the details.

Prices and stock change quickly. We try to show accurate, current deals, but we don't sell anything ourselves and can't guarantee a price, a discount or that an item is in stock. Always check the final price and the seller's terms before you pay. Your purchase is between you and the shop.

Affiliate links. Some links earn us a small commission if you buy. It costs you nothing extra and never changes which deals we show. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases.

Accounts

• You must be 18 or over to create an account.
• One account per person. Use your real email address and keep your password to yourself. You're responsible for what's posted from your account.
• Your display name is public. Don't use one that's offensive, pretends to be someone else, or advertises a business.
• You can delete your account at any time from your account settings. The privacy notice explains what we keep and why.

Posting deals: the rules

Deals you post should be genuine offers you'd tell a friend about. Please:

• link to the real product page at a real, reputable shop
• give the correct price and say honestly why it's a good deal
• tell us if you have a connection to the seller (you work there, own it, or are paid to promote it): put it in the description
• check it hasn't already been posted

You must not post:

• anything illegal, or links to anything illegal. That includes scams, fake shops, phishing pages, stolen or counterfeit goods, illegal drugs, weapons that can't legally be sold in the UK, and any material that sexually exploits children, promotes terrorism, or encourages suicide or self-harm
• hate, harassment, threats or abuse aimed at anyone
• adult or sexual content, gambling, or personal information about anyone
• spam, referral or affiliate links of your own, or the same deal over and over
• misleading prices, fake reviews or made-up discounts

Posts are limited to 5 a day and stay up for 14 days. By posting, you let us show your deal (with your display name) on Jammy Deals and in our emails and social posts. You keep any rights you have in what you wrote. Links in member posts may be changed to add our affiliate tag.

Reports and how we moderate

Anyone can report a deal with the Report button on it, signed in or not. We aim to review reports within 24 hours. We remove deals that break these rules or the law, and we may remove any deal that is expired, wrong or unhelpful. If content is illegal, we may also pass it to the relevant authority, such as the police, Action Fraud or the Internet Watch Foundation.

If someone keeps breaking the rules, or breaks them seriously, we may suspend or delete their account without notice. We will always delete accounts run by or for a banned (proscribed) organisation.

Complaints and appeals

Email [email protected] if:

• we removed your deal or account and you think we got it wrong (an appeal), or
• you're unhappy with how we handled a report, or with how we're meeting our duties under the Online Safety Act 2023.

Tell us which deal or account it's about and why. We'll reply within 7 days, look at it again fairly, and tell you what we decided. If we got it wrong, we'll put things back. We may ignore complaints that are clearly abusive or repeat one we've already answered.

Our responsibility to you

We provide Jammy Deals free and "as is". We do our best to keep it running and accurate, but we can't promise it will always be available or error-free. We're not responsible for other websites we link to, for what you buy from shops, or for deals posted by members. Nothing in these terms limits anything we can't limit by law, including your rights as a consumer, or liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

Changes and the law

We may update these terms as the site changes. We'll change the date at the top, and tell members by email about any big change. These terms are governed by the law of Scotland. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you can also bring a claim in your local courts.
